Head of Safety Sustainability & Compliance
Location: Katunayake
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the implementation and continual review of the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) management system in alignment with company goals, ensuring high levels of awareness and staff commitment to safe work practices.
Ensure full adherence to OHS policies and standards, working in coordination with the group OHS teams.
Provide imporvement ideas to enhance safety and quality of the facility operation in liasion with Head of Operation & safety represntaives.
Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Oversee the health and safety training program for all staff, ensuring it is timely, relevant, and effectively delivered in collaboration with HR.
Act as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related activities within the Cluster and Group
Maintain, update, and review all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with management.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline with exposure to OHS, compliance and sustainability.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fields of OHS Compliance & sustainability
Professional qualifications in the relevant field will be a definite advantage.
Excellent command of the English and Sinhala languages (written and oral)
