Introduction

We have some exciting new utility-scale solar PV projects scheduled to break ground from April 2026, and we’re assembling a high-calibre construction team to support these developments. (23 month contract)

We are engaging with senior engineers and site professionals who bring 10+ years of experience and a proven track record on large-scale solar farms (100MW+ preferred).

Additional Requirements Per Role

For Construction Manager

Experience managing large labour teams (300–500+ personnel).
Proven record of delivering large EPC or IPP energy projects.

For HV / Grid Engineer

Experience with MV/HV systems, grid compliance, substations (e.g. 132kV) and utility coordination.

For Commissioning Manager

Experience leading commissioning on multiple utility-scale solar projects.
ECSA registration (PrEng / PrTechEng).

For Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Site Supervisors

Supervisory experience over contractors and technical site teams.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC, ITPs, and installation standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Relevant engineering qualification (BSc / BTech / NDip in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related field depending on the role).
10+ years of professional engineering or construction experience in large industrial, energy, EPC or renewable-energy environments.
Prior experience on utility-scale solar PV projects (preferably 100MW+).
Proven experience in a site-based role overseeing construction, installation, QA/QC, commissioning, or HV/grid activities.
Strong understanding of EPC project environments, construction methodologies, quality requirements, and project execution processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and inspection/test plans.
Excellent HSSE awareness with a proven commitment to safe work practices.
Demonstrated ability to work in remote locations and manage/coordinate with multicultural site teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong risk management capability — identifying, assessing, and proactively mitigating technical, safety, construction or commercial risks.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple work fronts, and meet strict project deadlines.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to be site-based full-time during the construction period.
