What are we looking for?
Responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, policies, and regulations applicable to the company, identifying, evaluating, and mitigating compliance-related risks. Develop and implement training and awareness programs on ethics and compliance. Identify, evaluate, and investigate reports submitted to compliance via the official whistleblowing channel. Conduct critical and strategic analysis of all work and activities developed by the area, proposing improvements, strategic actions, and internal standards.
ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will be:
- Supervise and support the junior and/or full analyst in their activities.
- Support team development by critically analyzing the material, work, and activities performed by other team members.
- Develop standards and update internal Compliance policies in accordance with the Aperam Compliance Program and Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, policies, and regulations applicable to the company.
- Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate compliance-related risks.
- Investigate and address non-compliance incidents, proposing corrective solutions.
- Prepare and update compliance reports for senior management.
- Provide support to other employees through consultations on the Compliance Program, Aperam Code of Ethics and Conduct, and other relevant policies of the Compliance area.
- Provide support in implementing training and awareness programs on ethics and compliance.
- Develop and conduct corporate training on policies and procedures relevant to the Compliance area.
- Develop and create communication actions for internal dissemination of the Compliance culture within the organization.
- Identify, evaluate, investigate reports submitted to compliance via the official whistleblowing channel or other means of communication, as well as manage the whistleblowing channel and report to the organization's board.
- Follow up with employees and areas after the investigation of reports, when necessary.
- Third-party analyses (Due Diligence) to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and mitigate reputational risks.
- Analysis and management of employees' conflicts of interest.
- Support and mediate actions arising from Donations and Sponsorships.
- Manage declarations of participation in associations and organizations by company employees.
