Summary:
EcoRep Leaders are part-time, paid student interns in the Office of Sustainability, hired to support the EcoRep Program. The EcoRep Program provides undergraduate students with opportunities to gain leadership and outreach skills while engaging the AU community in learning about and taking action for sustainability. EcoRep Leaders will work with Office of Sustainability staff to oversee this volunteer program.
Essential Functions:
Assisting with strategic planning for the program, including attending planning meetings.
Monitoring volunteer sign-ups for events.
Coordinating and staffing outreach events (setting up tables and displays, making sure volunteers arrive on time, organizing materials in advance, etc.).
Modeling positive leadership and effective outreach skills.
Assisting with creating communications content to promote the program and events.
Disseminating information to EcoReps via Teams, email, monthly General Body Meetings, or in-person conversations.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time.
Student.
10 hours per week. As paid employees, unexcused absences are considered grounds for termination.
This position will begin in January 2026 and last through the spring semester, with the potential for continuation.
