We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP development and experience on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role requires end-to-end responsibility for ABAP development, customizations, and integration across SAP landscapes, with a focus on delivering scalable, cloud-ready, and performance-optimized solutions. The consultant will collaborate with functional teams, business users, and project managers to implement innovative solutions leveraging both on-premise and BTP environments.

ABAP Development
- Design, code, test, and implement custom SAP applications using ABAP/4, OO ABAP, and related technologies.
- Develop enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and user exits to support business processes.
- Conduct performance tuning and code optimization for ABAP programs.
Technical Expertise
- Work with SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM, etc.) to design and deliver technical solutions.
- Support integration with SAP and non-SAP systems through IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and guidelines.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and automation within procurement & supply chain functions.
Project Delivery
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in system upgrades, rollouts, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Provide technical support, defect resolution, and system maintenance.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Explore and implement new SAP technologies (SAP Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, RAP, OData services).
- Recommend improvements for processes, tools, and methodologies in the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with SAP’s evolving cloud and BTP roadmap.
- Recommend innovative approaches to improve system performance, integration, and user experience.
- Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices in SAP development environments.
SAP BTP & Advanced Development
- Design and build solutions on SAP BTP using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), CAP, CDS Views, and OData services.
- Integrate SAP on-premise systems with cloud applications via SAP BTP Integration Suite and APIs.
- Develop extensions using SAP Fiori/UI5 and deploy them via SAP BTP.
- Leverage SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Git-enabled Change Management (gCTS) for modern development workflows
