Join DS Smith as Sustainability Manager for North EMEA!

Are you passionate about sustainability and love connecting with people? DS Smith is looking for a Sustainability Manager who will champion our sustainability agenda and strengthen our brand across North EMEA. In this role, you will be the face of DS Smith in customer meetings, at trade fairs, and during key events, showcasing our leadership in circularity and sustainability.

You will take ownership of driving engagement with customers and partners, turning complex sustainability topics into clear, compelling messages that inspire action. Your work will shape our sustainability strategy to meet market needs, while sharing best practices and success stories both internally and externally. Staying ahead of legislation, market trends, and consumer behavior will be part of your daily routine, ensuring we identify opportunities and train local teams on new developments. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with operations and cross-functional teams to achieve our sustainability targets and uncover new business and innovation opportunities.

The role reports to the Sales, Marketing & Innovation Director North EMEA and can be based at any of our North EMEA offices (in or with close proximity to Stockholm, Copenhagen, Vilnius, Helsinki - to mention but a few), with flexibility to travel.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years sustainability experience within packaging or FMCG companies – ideally 5+ years

Sales experience or customer facing roles

Action and team oriented

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Highly skilled in analysis, problem solving, and creativity

Furthermore, you have a keen interest in consumer / shopper behaviour, retailing, FMCG supply chains and the fast-changing sales channels, and are passionate about growing businesses in partnership with our customers.

This role requires excellent language skills, oral and written, in English as well as one of ourBaltic or Nordic languages.
