What You Will Be Doing
Lead and implement concurrent environmental and civil engineering projects.
Provide technical oversight, leadership, and mentorship to engineers and project staff.
Conduct design analysis and prepare engineering cost estimates, drawings, and specifications.
Manage landfill design, wastewater treatment, and large-scale groundwater remediation projects.
Oversee permitting in PA and NJ (industrial wastewater discharge, soil erosion, sediment control, and site planning).
Ensure compliance with federal environmental and safety regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, OSHA, TSCA).
Support business development through proposal writing, client presentations, and project budgeting.
Collaborate with senior leadership on planning, scheduling, and quality control to ensure project success.
Participate in field visits, construction oversight, and client meetings as needed.
Experience You Will Need
Current New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
15+ years of experience in environmental or civil engineering.
6+ years of progressive management and leadership experience.
Proven record managing landfill, wastewater, and remediation projects.
Expertise in NJ/PA permitting and regulatory processes.
Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and refresher certification.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Strong project and client management skills with experience in proposal preparation.
Software: MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint (GIS/MicroStation/AutoCAD a plus).
