The National Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist I will be responsible for the
following:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating the company’s safety policies and standards which support efforts towards an injury-free goal
- Identify and work to correct potential hazards and unsafe work conditions.
- Drive and assist with incident investigations and implementation of effective solutions.
- Assist in completing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and facilitate/attend EH&S toolbox safety meetings.
- Help lead Operational Excellence initiatives.
Requirements:
- Current Construction, Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of training, construction safety, gas distribution, or pipeline experience preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations and industry standards preferred.
- OSHA 500, or 510 certifications preferred.
- Experience in HDD, Oil & Gas, or similar industries preferred.
- Ability to communicate, organize and prioritize daily workload, follow, and promote policies/ procedures, and maintain company confidentiality.
- Experience in developing technical programs in accordance with industry requirements and conducting training sessions with field employees to support operations.
