Are you an engineer/architect looking forward to making the building sector more sustainable? Want to optimize the energy concept of buildings? Simulate thermal comfort and daylight access of a building? Do you want to evaluate the carbon impact of a future project by performing life-cycle analyses?

SuReal is a fast-growing international consultancy with offices in Brussels and Milan, advising private and public organizations on sustainable buildings and cities. We focus on quantifiable sustainability solutions, cutting through greenwashing to drive real impact.

What you will do

Conduct technical, building-related sustainability studies, including
o   Simulations of energy demands, thermal comfort, daylight and waterflows
o   Carbon footprint assessments and material optimization analyses
o   Energy feasibility studies for low-carbon and passive design solutions
Prepare evidence reports for certification schemes like BREEAM, WELL, DGNB and GRO
Translate these study results into clear, data-backed advice to support project managers and clients on a wide array of challenging projects
Specialize in a specific topic and grow into the internal go-to expert

Job requirements

What you bring

Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, or environmental sciences, with experience or interest in areas like building physics, LCA, energy modeling, EPB, water management, or biodiversity
Strong analytical and solutions-driven with good time management skills
Eagerness to learn and share knowledge
Clear communicator with an eye for structure and accuracy
Fluency in NL and/or FR, and strong English skills
