DescriptionSH&S Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance for Badger’s safety sensitive databases, safety pre-qualifications, client site requirements, and client and regulatory training. This position will assist in the writing of safety programs and communications.
The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assists in the drug and alcohol compliance process for employees including the coordination of the random drug testing pools. Certified DER (designated employee representative) for Drug and Alcohol.
- Coordinates clients criminal background checks, training, and site clearance through databases and advises area, regional management through client clearance requirement to work.
- Facilitates the completion of the safety regulatory and customer required audits and reporting.
- Assist in the writing of safety programs and communications Partners with other departments on shared processes.
What We're Looking For
- Associates Degree in Safety and Health Management
- 3+ years of safety and health, drug and alcohol, and DOT administrative work experience, with DER certifications
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Incident, Prequalification, and Drug/Alcohol Management Systems
- Ability to write policies, procedures, safety communications
