Job Summary<\/b>
<\/p>
The Systems Engineer (Solar & BESS) will be responsible
for the technical design, standardisation, and evaluation of solar photovoltaic
(PV) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for Enerparc India’s
utility -scale projects. The role includes developing standardised designs,
performing technical due diligence, supporting vendor qualification, and
coordinating cross -functionally for hybrid and advanced technology integration.
The position demands strong technical expertise in PV and BESS systems, electrical
engineering fundamentals, and an understanding of grid integration and
techno -economic optimization.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>
1. Design & Engineering<\/b>
<\/p>
<\/b>
<\/div>Develop and maintain standardised system designs
for PV and BESS including SLDs, layouts, and control philosophies.
<\/li>Perform technical assessment and component sizing
for PV modules, inverters, batteries, and PCS.
<\/li>Support system integration studies, including AC/DC
coupling configurations, control logics, and operational modes.
<\/li>Prepare and review tendering specifications,
employer requirements, and design packages for BESS components and hybrid
systems.
<\/li>Conduct energy yield assessments (PVsyst), loss
analysis, and design optimization to support commercial and pre -bid teams.
<\/li>Review and validate electrical studies including
load flow, short -circuit, and protection coordination.
<\/li>Coordinate
with grid interconnection and protection teams for compliance with CEA,
IEC, and IEEE standards.
<\/li><\/ul>2. Vendor Evaluation &
Technical Qualification<\/b>
<\/p>
<\/div>Lead technical evaluation and qualification of
solar and BESS component vendors.
<\/li>Review test reports, certifications (IEC, UL, IS),
and field performance data.
<\/li>Participate
in factory and site inspections (FAT/SAT) and ensure compliance with
design and quality requirements.
<\/li><\/ul>3. Technical Analysis &
Support<\/b>
<\/p>
<\/div>Conduct BESS techno -economic studies, evaluating
performance, sizing, and lifetime degradation.
<\/li>Review and benchmark OEM proposals for performance,
safety, and reliability.
<\/li>Support
troubleshooting and post -commissioning technical investigations.
<\/li><\/ul>4. Collaboration &
Continuous Improvement<\/b>
<\/p>
<\/div>Work closely with Pre -Bid, D&E, Quality, and
Procurement teams for design alignment and cost optimization.
<\/li>Continuously update design standards based on new
inverter and BESS technologies.
<\/li>Provide
training and knowledge sharing within the engineering function on hybrid
and storage systems.

Requirements<\/h3>
Skills and Qualifications:<\/b>
<\/p>
<\/div>Education:<\/b> B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in
Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Renewable Energy.
<\/li>Experience:<\/b> 5–8 years in solar PV and BESS
engineering, preferably in IPP or EPC environments.
<\/li>Technical Competencies:<\/b>
<\/li>Strong understanding of PV and BESS design
principles – system sizing, energy management, and protection design.
<\/li>Proficient in PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVCase, ETAP, and
MS Office.
<\/li>Familiarity with BESS simulation or sizing tools
(e.g., Homer, MATLAB, or vendor -specific software).
<\/li>Working knowledge of standards: IEC 62933, IEC
62109, IEEE 1547, IS 16221, CEA Grid Code.

problem -solving, and cross -functional collaboration skills.

environment.
