Our client, a major refinery, is currently looking for a Drafter I in Artesia, NM.
Pay Rate: $28 to $32, based on experience
On-site position, 9/80 schedule
Job Summary: Conducts routine design assignments for the Engineering Department under limited supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing CAD standards
- Maintains drawings and drawing systems
- Possess a good knowledge of industry standards
- Performs design and drafting assignments related to the refineries
- Monitors outside contractor drawing compliance
Qualifications:
0-3 years of job related experience - Willingness to learn.
Some special training related to Drafting & Design is preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.
Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
Work Conditions:
Office and field based. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver based environments including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, and working in confined spaces.
