Join SunVena as a Solar Installer, where you will play a crucial role in installing residential rooftop solar systems. Your primary responsibilities will encompass installing and maintaining solar systems while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. This role requires teamwork, construction experience, comfort working on roofs, and the ability to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to install racking systems and solar panels on residential roofs.
- Assemble solar panels, arrays, and necessary supporting structures.
- Perform repairs in compliance with local, state, and OSHA regulations.
- Provide service and maintenance for solar systems when required.
- Deliver high-quality installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promote heat exhaustion awareness and ensure team members follow proper safety protocols.
- Willingly travel out of town to various job sites to facilitate solar installations.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and well-prepared for daily use.
- Occasionally assist in organizing equipment in the warehouse.
- Adhere to all PPE and safety regulations according to OSHA and company standards.
- Complete any additional tasks as directed by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Possess 1 to 2 years of construction experience, with preference to solar experience
- Capable of working effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working on rooftops/heights
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel as necessary in the state of Florida
