Wayfare Energy is currently looking for experienced Electrical Helpers (Solar). Electrical Helpers are expected to assist Electrician and Journeyman Leads (Solar) with installing a variety of electrical devices at job sites across the Palm Beach\/Broward County area.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
Responsibilities include:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Cut metal components for installation<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals for subsequent soldering<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Perform semi\-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Dig trenches or holes for installation of conduit or supports<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Organize tools and supplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions of the electrician<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualified candidates will have:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Minimum of 1\-year experience is required<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Must have experience running MC, bending conduit, installing boxes, lights, outlets, and pulling wire<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Ability to read blueprints a plus<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Formal education and\/or training preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Ability to work in all weather environments depending on job location <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Ability to work on roofs and in tight crawl spaces\/attic settings<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Must have all hand tools required for job<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Valid driver's license<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Reliable transportation<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Authorized to work in the U.S.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Interest in the solar industry<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
