Position Overview

Lindsay Renewables is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily operations at our expanding Plant 2 facility in Canal Fulton, Ohio. This individual will oversee multiple production lines, guide our team of integrators, and manage electrical contractors supporting large-scale equipment assembly. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, Lean manufacturing expertise, and a proven ability to develop efficient, safe, and scalable production environments as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of multiple production lines, ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Lead and support a team of integrators and electrical contractors, ensuring coordination across departments and shifts.
Implement and sustain a 5S system to drive workplace organization, safety, and efficiency.
Apply and promote Lean principles to improve process discipline, eliminate waste, and enhance throughput.
Develop, refine, and optimize production line layouts, workflows, and procedures to support increasing capacity.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth integration of materials, equipment, and product flow.
Track, analyze, and report financial and operational performance metrics to support continuous improvement and cost management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement, coaching supervisors and team leads to achieve plant goals.
Partner with leadership to plan and execute strategic initiatives as the facility continues its year-over-year capacity expansion.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, ideally within large-equipment or industrial system production.
Demonstrated experience developing and managing production lines and implementing Lean and 5S programs.
Experience working with large materials, overhead cranes, and equipment featuring integrated electrical systems.
Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to manage and report key performance indicators.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proven success leading teams through growth and operational scaling.

Preferred Experience

Experience in large-scale equipment assembly or facilities with integrated mechanical and electrical systems.
Background managing teams in a multi-line production environment undergoing rapid capacity growth.
Experience leading a mixture of direct employees and subcontractors, effectively managing performance, communication, and collaboration.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
