In the role of Power Operations (Renewables) - Engineering Co-op Student, you will assist the engineering team in operating a world-class fleet of renewable power production assets. It’s an excellent job for people who have an interest in renewable energy and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Placement Details:
This is a 12 or 16-month co-op placement starting in May 2026, located in Calgary, Alberta.
What you will do:
- Assist with various tasks and projects within the Power Operations - Electrical Engineering team related to renewable (wind and solar) generating facilities.
- Conduct assignments relating to quality control and analysis of data.
- Perform monthly work tasks including review and analysis of inspection data.
- Assist with development and trouble-shooting of various software and programming applications.
- Lead small projects and initiatives with the guidance and assistance of the team.
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
- Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
- Strong programming skills, particularly in MATLAB, Python and VBA would be a strong asset
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role, located in Calgary, Alberta.
