Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
- Diagnose and resolve turbine faults using diagnostic software, and control systems.
- Conduct system performance testing, alignment, and calibration of sensors, control units, and power systems.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support to operations teams during turbine outages, alarms, and fault conditions.
- Support remote monitoring and control systems, interpreting turbine data to detect early warning signs of failure.
- Maintain detailed service logs, fault reports, and maintenance documentation in compliance with Resort standards.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and performance analysis.
- Follow all site safety protocols, including high-voltage procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable environmental, electrical, and occupational safety regulations.
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of wind turbine units.
- Support inventory control of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
- Recommend technical improvements or upgrades to enhance system reliability.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with management regarding turbine status and maintenance priorities.
- Mentor junior technicians on maintenance practices and diagnostic procedures.

Specific Technical / General
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience with wind turbines.
- Strong knowledge of turbine electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in turbine monitoring systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Valid Wind Turbine Safety Training (GWO) certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Physically fit to perform work at heights and in confined spaces.
