Position Title: Solar Project Engineer
Experience Required: 1 - 3 years
Salary Range: ₹3 - 4.5 LPA
Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Pre-Construction:
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and load analysis.
- Assist in project proposals, defining technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Plan procurement and logistics for solar panels, inverters, and other components.
Project Execution & Construction:
- Supervise on-site installation, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers for smooth execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper installation and commissioning.
Project Completion & Handover:
- Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure functionality and grid compliance.
- Prepare project documentation, including operation & maintenance manuals.
- Train clients on system operations and maintenance procedures.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and report lessons learned.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 - 3 years in solar PV project management or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, system design, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with technical software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, safety standards, and grid interconnection.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in solar project budgeting and financing.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, permitting processes, and quality control.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
