CLPe provides energy infrastructure and one-stop smart energy management solutions for customers in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, empowering them to accelerate their green transition and achieve low-carbon, high-efficiency energy management.
We are looking for a high caliber professional to join our Solar Branch as a Manager - Business Development. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage clients’ engagement & needs and respond to stakeholders’ requests in a timely and comprehensive manner to achieve business target and increase market share. Identify key projects and utilize internal and external resources to drive business development
- Take ownership of specific business KPIs to support the business plan execution including customer lead generation, opportunity pipeline qualification, conversion rate, revenue and profit margin
- Work closely with the technical & operational teams to deliver customer outcomes
- Review commercial proposals and performance in a timely and accurate manner, including appropriate analysis on performance, competitive situation, and customer feedback to evaluate cost effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare pre-qualification and tender submission for major clients and conduct tender bidding review
- Manage clients’ needs, project planning & implementation, daily operational matters and any ad-hoc requests
- Maintain and upkeep the standards of operational processes with internal control and measurements in place
- Monitor the market development, customer feedback and competitors’ activities
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Engineering, Business Administration or relevant disciplines. Recognized university master’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years’ relevant business development working experience
- Solid knowledge in different types of Renewable Energy technologies
- Solid experience in solar or other renewable energy project
- Experience in field project management is an advantage
- Strong network and connections with government, property management companies, consultants
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and experiences in effective contract deals closing
- Proven performance record and development on meeting business targets
- Good customer handling and networking skills with experiences to develop customer relationship up to senior management level
- Excellent communications and presentation skills and experiences to deliver convincing presentation and communicate with clients through different channels in both verbal and written format
- Strong sense in commercial acumen
- Professional Corporate membership in Business or Engineering institutions would be an added advantage
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
