<\/div>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><\/span><\/span> <\/div> <\/div> The Renewables Transmission Planning & Interconnection Manager <\/span><\/span><\/span>supports transmission planning interconnection studies to support operational and development portfolio needs<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> The Renewables Transmission Planning & Interconnection Manager<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> facilitates <\/span><\/span><\/span>power flow, stability, and dynamic analysis utilizing PSS\/E, TARA, PSCAD, PSLF, and\/or PowerWorld<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> The Renewables Transmission Planning & Interconnection Manager<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>is heavily involved in renewable energy \/ battery storage interconnection application models<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> The Renewables Transmission Planning & Interconnection Manager<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>develops\/supports\/builds tools in Python, SQL, and\/or MS Excel that automate the study process of analyzing output data flows from the model<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> The Renewables Transmission Planning & Interconnection Manager <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>supports renewable interconnection stakeholder (utilities, RTOs, ISOs..etc) and project management<\/span><\/span><\/span>

QUALIFICATIONS:<\/b>
<\/span><\/span> <\/div> Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferably Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Technical Leader with hands\-on power flow modeling and interconnection studies experience (PSS\/E, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN, MUST, TARA, and\/or PowerWorld)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> Strong background leading transmission and interconnection initiatives in TARA<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Exposure to economic transmission market planning and analysis \- PROMOD, GridView, UPlan, or Plexos is a PLUS<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Understanding of the transmission interconnection application process<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Understanding of electricity market policy and rules with respect to interconnection and transmission planning<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience working with ISOs (independent system operator) and\/or RTOs (regional transmission organization) <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Working knowledge of Utility\-scale renewable energy operations (Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Battery Storage)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Solution driven âget it doneâ attitude, strong communication, and presentation skills<\/span><\/span><\/span>
