In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping our outbound appointment-setting team. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments over the phone with potential clients for our sales team. We need a lead from the front leader who can drive volume for the team and set a high bar. You'll start by mastering the script and sales strategy. Once your sales ability is proven, you will then transition into a leadership role, coaching agents, providing mentorship, tracking performance, and driving results. We are looking for a versatile individual who can lead by example. We offer a strong base + commission, full training, and upside growth potential. Our top team leaders earn between $90,000–$120,000+ per year.
Work hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, on-site in Las Vegas.
- Supervise and motivate a team of outbound callers to book appointments with qualified solar prospects
- Lead from the front: hit performance metrics and model effective call techniques
- Coach and mentor reps in real-time to improve script adherence, objection handling, and conversion rates
- Monitor call outcomes and help implement best practices for higher efficiency
- Coordinate daily huddles, role-play sessions, and team development activities
- Track team KPIs and report performance data to department leadership
- Stay informed on solar trends, competing offers, and Direct Solar’s value proposition
- Foster a positive, fast-paced, goal-driven work environment
- At least 1 year of outbound phone sales or call center experience
- Proven ability to hit targets and drive team results
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities
- Reliable transportation to our Las Vegas office
Preferred:
- Previous experience in solar or energy sales
- Leadership, supervisory, or team training experience
