<\/div>Seeking a C&I Application Engineer with extensive knowledge of BESS will work within R&D group, closely aligned with tech support, marketing and sales to provide a constant flow of application knowledge to best serve current and future customers of Sol -Ark. Ideal candidate will work to disseminate and synthesize customer requirements to aid in system design for various customer applications. The selected person shall be an expert with a sound understanding of evolving trends of customer expectations and technological advancements. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/div>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/div>Support for Technical Sales<\/b>: Assist sales/FAE teams with technical questions, site assessments, and system design in large projects.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>System Design and Engineering<\/b>: Support EPC contractors in designing and engineering commercial and industrial solar systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Product Development<\/b>: Collaborate with product and R&D teams to develop and improve solar products and services.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Product Test<\/b>: Conduct a variety of tests of HV inverters, BESS, and produce detailed reports.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Training and Education:<\/b> Provide training and education to application engineering, technical support, sales/FAE teams, customers, and partners on solar products and technologies.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Industry Research<\/b>: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve business operations.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Market knowledge<\/b>: Ideal candidate shall have an in depth understanding of emerging application areas to apply renewable energy.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Customer Support<\/b>: Assist the technical support team in addressing complex customer inquiries and resolving technical issues.

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications:<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
<\/div>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems or power electronics from an accredited university. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>5+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential solar energy combined.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in the testing and product support of solar and/or energy storage technologies.
<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Familiarity with evaluating products for compliance with UL 1741, IEEE 1547, UL 9540, UL 9540A and including NEC Knowledge. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Strong understanding of Modbus RTU and Canbus protocol is highly preferable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Preferred Industry -recognized certifications (e.g., NABCEP). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Strong technical knowledge of solar systems, design, and installation. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and adapt to changing industry conditions.
