About Your Team
As the Senior Manager, Sustainability and Strategy, you will play pivotal part in our Strategy and Corporate Development team in our Strategy, Legal, and Corporate Affairs Business Unit. Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy and Corporate Development, this role blends both corporate and sustainability strategy and plays a crucial part in achieving CFS's strategic aspirations. By collaborating with various departments, including Superannuation & Investments, Customer, Risk, Finance and Corporate Affairs, you will help shape the future of our business.
Your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping our customers achieve financial freedom by ensuring that our sustainability and strategic initiatives are aligned with our core values and business goals.
Key Focuses and Responsibilities
- Deliver CFS’s corporate responsibility requirements.
- Lead sustainability strategy development and annual review process.
- Drive key strategic projects and business initiatives to deliver on CFS’s strategy, including support for organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
- Oversee and coordinate sustainability campaigns and plans to promote CFS’s corporate brand.
- Engage with stakeholders across various business functions to maintain a clear understanding of policy agendas, competitor landscapes, and community expectations.
- Support the CFS Strategy team by providing business insights, undertaking analysis and research, and developing presentation materials and position papers.
Your Capability and Experience
- A bias for pragmatism in problem solving through the application of strategic models and frameworks.
- Deft strategy skills that enable you to obtain information from multi-channel sources, applying methodical, critical analysis.
- Prepare and eloquently present compelling tangible business opportunities to key stakeholders.
- Experience in strategy roles (inhouse or consultancy) and a background in Financial Services will be highly regarded.
