The Environmental Health team plays a pivotal role in our community in improving public health.

The City of Bunbury is calling for candidates who wish to register their interest for any up and coming full time, casual, fixed term or temporary vacancies in our Environmental Health department at the City of Bunbury.

Responsibilities

  • Duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the position.

Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of environmental health practices and principles.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for developing good relationships with internal and external customers and delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Valid C Class driver's licence

Qualification requirements

Completion of or working towards a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) or other qualifications acceptable as an Authorised Officer in accordance with Section 18 of the Public Health Act 2016, and a National Police Clearance.

Qualified for appointment in accordance with Sections 87 and 88 of the Environmental Protection Act.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employees 2024 Enterprise Agreement. The level and rate offered will vary depending on the position, experience and qualifications.
