Job Description:

 We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer to join our team, specializing in designing solar panel structures for installation. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently on projects, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in solar engineering, with a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record in designing and implementing solar energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop 2D CAD models for solar panel structures, including mounting systems, tracking systems, and foundations using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other drafting software.
  
• Translate conceptual designs into technical drawings with accurate dimensions, elevations, sections, and layouts as per project requirements.
  
•  Interpret topographical maps, survey data, and geotechnical reports to integrate site-specific conditions into designs.
  
•  Preparation of foundation plan, elevation & Cable trench layout of Switchyard. 
  
• Fabrication layout for individual equipment structure.
  
• Preparation of foundation layout for individual equipment structure from design report.
  
• Preparation of MCR plan, elevation, architectural layout including the calculation of BOM of construction material
  
• Preparation of detailed drawing of MMS including the G.A and fabrication layout with the weight calculation of individual table and fasteners.
  
• Preparation of the layout for Module Cleaning system from the Detail design report.
  
• Should be capable of developing plant drainage layout.
  
• Should be capable of develop 2D cad models into 3D models.
  
• Preparation of Inverter station plan, elevation, architectural layout including th calculation of BOM of construction material of PEB structures.
  
• Preparation of Panel arrangement layout.
  
• Ensure drawings adhere to local building codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations for project approval.
  
• Work independently on projects, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  
• Coordination with civil drawings
  

Requirements

•  Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Draughtsmanship, or a related field with minimum 3 years of relevant Design experience
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other drafting software
  

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and related technologies.

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site layouts, and construction

techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• Professional engineering license.

• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.
