Position Overview:
You will join #TeamPurple on our Blade Task Force – Project Management Team. Your internship experience will include:
Opportunities to learn & be a part of high performing project management team responsible for blade Inspections, blade Repairs and blade replacements for SG145 blades.
Work with project managers on project planning, budgeting, execution and project closure.
Work with project modules, giving you a 360-degree comprehensive overview of the service operations business in North America.
Engage in cross-functional collaboration, allowing you to experience working globally.
Develop real world project management skills, through owning your own project with the support of a project manager on the team.
Responsibilities:
Gather, collect, record, track, and be able to verify data and information from multiple sources to support projects.
Compile, review, and analyzes data for reporting.
Able to use software for functional areas, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations.
Work within data systems (SAP, ARIBA, WebMeathods, etc.).
Design processes to enhance workflow and share relevant data with project managers on functional unit processes and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to support hiring external vendors and developing professional bid packages.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience and Abilities:
Baseline knowledge of Renewable Energy
Pursuing bachelor’s degree in engineering (i.e. electrical, mechanical, chemical, industrial, etc.) or construction management
Rising senior or grad student
3.2+ overall GPA
Basic understanding of project management, scheduling, budgeting, and quality
Advanced computer skills with MS Office
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking aptitude through previous school projects, employment, or extracurricular activities
Experience with presenting in front of small and large groups
