Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $118,400 - $197,300 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.
Scope of Job: Under the supervision of Director, Environmental Permitting, the Senior Manager, Environmental Permitting will provide strategy and leadership for all aspects of environmental risk assessment and mitigation in renewable energy siting and permitting. Identify risks and develop and implement permitting and approvals strategies for greenfield and contracted development projects. This role will cover all stages of environmental planning and analysis for Development projects, ranging from initial greenfield site diligence through environmental surveys and acquisition of any required federal, state, or local environmental permits. This role will develop environmental study scopes, obtain proposals, oversee consultants, and review deliverables. This role will provide guidance to regional development, construction, and operations teams regarding environmental permitting risks, strategies, mitigation, and implementation requirements. In collaboration with the Director, Environmental Permitting, this position will also advise internal teams regarding upcoming regulatory changes and other environmental risks that may have an impact on EDF Renewables’ development and operations in the future.
