Role Purpose

We are seeking a Head of Marketing to drive brand positioning, customer acquisition, and market expansion in the energy and renewable sectors. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring B2B marketing expertise, digital strategy execution, and brand management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Lead brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across digital and offline platforms.

  • Manage event marketing efforts, including industry conferences, trade shows, and webinars.

  • Oversee lead generation campaigns targeting commercial and industrial customers.

  • Drive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and analytics.

  • Collaborate with PR agencies and media to enhance thought leadership and market visibility.

  • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing campaigns and optimize ROI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong B2B marketing experience, ideally within renewable energy, energy trading, or industrial sectors.

  • Proven success in digital marketing, CRM, automation, and lead generation.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy trends.

We assist with all aspects of immigration and relocation visas, permits, compliance and expatriate relocation support. We also train expatriates to better understand the culture of their new countries, helping them adjust and make their assignments a success. We work with our joint venture partner, a specialist immigration and relocation services company, to provide these services.Our partner provides expatriate support anywhere in South Africa and on the African continent. The success of businesses in Africa largely depends on in-depth knowledge and experience of the country specifics. Their experience and knowledge of African countries enables them to provide a customizable end to end solution to deploy and manage Expatriate and Executive talent in Africa. The joint venture allows SET Consulting to provide a diversity of services to enable clients to focus on the growth of their businesses while we take care of the mobilising of the workforce.

OUTSOURCED CONTRACT LABOUR

SET Consulting offers Outsourced Contract Labour solutions through our sister company, Africa Deployments (ADS). Through them we can provide outsourced immigration & payroll solutions in over 45 African countries should our clients wish to outsource their labour. ADS can offer cost-effective solutions with a quick turnaround time to ensure that companies can operate efficiently and deliver on time results.
