Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is a discussion of how an applicant's education, training, experience, and skills meet the criteria in the duty statement and qualify the applicant for the position. Please include a 1-2 pages, 12-point font, SOQ that describes your experience as it relates to this position/duty statement. Resumes and cover letters will not take the place of the SOQ. Failure to include and complete the SOQ may result in disqualification for interview.
The SOQ must address the following:
1. Describe your knowledge and experience in reviewing, analyzing and processing of appraisals, contract documents, financial reports and/or cost proposals. Please include your knowledge of appraisals, condemnation, and local programs. Provide examples.
2. Describe your experience in recognizing problems, developing solutions and addressing challenging situations; taking independent action and expert decision making. Experience in data analysis and ensuring accurate and concise reports for sales of properties. Provide examples.
3. Describe your experience working with staff, consultants, external and internal customers. Experience in organizing and running meetings and able to make presentations; Experience in effective verbal and written communication particularly in quasilegal terminology. Provide examples.

of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or
appointment. If you are basing your eligibility on education, you must
include your unofficial transcript(s)/diploma for verification.
