DescriptionAs an intermediate practitioner, you will actively participate in multi-disciplinary regional and national teams, working on a variety of environmental impact assessment and permitting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical input on a variety of permitting, regulatory and environmental impact assessment tasks.
- Work on multiple projects, to support execution of scope/budget/schedule to meet quality standards on project deliverables.
- Execute activities such as permit application scoping and information requirements, technical writing, data and regulatory research and review, collection and integration of input from subject matter experts
- Support typical project assignments which include researching regulatory or technical requirements, and writing reports and proposals
- Leading environmental impact assessments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Biology or Environmental Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience, including prior experience with federal and provincial environmental impact assessments
- Some project management experience
- Expertise with Federal and/or Provincial and Territorial regulations and guidelines
- Ability to function in a team setting, accept responsibility, and work to deadlines
