Job Posting

Duties include conducting inspections and preparing related technical reports to meet federal and state requirements; responding to hazardous materials incidents and supervising incident cleanup; and investigating customer complaints. Duties may also include performing sampling, monitoring and inspections for the drinking water, and industrial wastewater pretreatment programs. A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in environmental science, biology, microbiology, chemistry or a related science field and two years of relevant experience are required. TCEQ Class C Water and Class II Wastewater licenses preferred. If not presently licensed at this level, Class D Water and Collection I Wastewater licenses preferred, and as a condition of continued employment, must obtain Class C and Collection II within a specified timeframe. Knowledge of Cross Connection is highly desirable. Night and weekend hours are sometimes required. A résumé must be submitted with application.

PAY GRADE GG18 / FULL PAY RANGE $26.33 - $37.11 PER HOUR
