JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Greystar’s Summer Associate role provides an opportunity for graduate-level students planning a career in the real estate industry. Summer Associates will gain in-depth and practical experience in specific lines of business in which they are interning, including, but not limited to: Acquisitions, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Investor/Client Relations, or Development
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Work closely with team on sourcing new acquisitions/clients, investor pitches/memos, client calls, reports, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
2. Work with the functional team to get a sense of their duties and responsibilities in an effort to gain knowledge of day to day processes, procedures, etc.
3. May work closely with senior team members to complete various financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis as assigned or as necessary.
4. Become familiar with Company applications and operational techniques through completing required in-house training programs.
5. May work on special projects that require building relationships and partnering with other lines of business or external clients to reach goals.
6. May conduct research on and prepare an assessment of a conceptual idea within the lines of business.
7. Complete end of program Capstone project and presentation.
8. Participate in Intern Program events such as Orientation, Executive Speaker Series, Trainings & Workshops, weekly Lunch & Learns, Mentorship activities, and site visits.
Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
