Our Strategy Consultants work with client and project teams to support global engagements from India, focusing on delivering impactful results. Their responsibilities include conducting analyses and developing insights, preparing analytical models, analyzing large data sets, and understanding how digital solutions can address client pain points. They capture current processes, prepare work plans, design to-be processes, work directly with client teams and facilitate meetings to enable decision making. Additionally, they organize and prepare recommendations on client issues and participate actively in new business development, thought leadership and firm building activities.

At PwC, our people in sustainability focus on integrating environmental, social, economic, and governance considerations into business strategies and operations. They provide guidance and support to organizations by managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact. As a sustainability generalist at PwC, you will utilize your skills and experience across environmental, social, governance (ESG) topics and sustainability more broadly. You will analyze client needs and provide consulting services across different areas in the sustainability lifecycle, including strategy, transformation, and reporting.

As a manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients, lead project workstreams for strategic engagements, and forge strong relationships. Understand their unique challenges and objectives, and guide them through the sustainability journey, providing tailored recommendations and solutions.
Decarbonization and Net Zero Strategy:Demonstrate in-depth understanding of decarbonization strategies, energy management, greenhouse gas footprint analysis, renewable energy solutions, and regulatory frameworks related to greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks: Possess knowledge of the GHG Protocol, GRI, TCFD, Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and other relevant frameworks.
Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of sustainability trends, emerging technologies, and policy developments. Publish thought leadership content, build presentations for industry conferences, and actively contribute to the knowledge base of our organization.
Analytical Skills:Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is preferred.
Past experience in strategy consulting domain with experience in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability related engagements and exposure to a multinational environment will be an added bonus
