About the role:
- Advising clients on environment and planning laws, regulatory compliance, and approval processes.
- Assisting with environmental impact assessments and land use planning.
- Acting in planning and environmental litigation, including appearing before courts and tribunals.
- Drafting legal documents, including planning agreements, submissions, and regulatory advice.
- Working closely with government bodies, developers, and corporate clients on complex legal matters.
The ideal candidate:
- Admitted to practice in Australia with 2-10 years of PQE in environment and planning law.
- Strong experience in regulatory compliance, land use planning, and environmental approvals.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach with strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
