Job Description


Job Summary:


Project Development Specialist Position will  be a part of the finance team.  Ensuring policies and procedures are being followed.  


In this role, the Project Development Specialist must be familiar with Accounting and CRM platforms, overseeing the creation of customer accounts within each platform, ensuring an accurate recording and transfer of data between internal platforms and external sites. Often managing numerous client accounts at once. Responsibilities include the ability to prioritize workload, meet predetermined deadlines and assist with special projects as needed


This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication and collaboration with various departments, including sales, operations, and finance. Provides administrative and clerical assistance to various departments. Will play a critical role in facilitating communication, coordinating tasks, closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee  and ensure the smooth  and  successful flow of information and documentation between different parts of the company.

Essential Functions and Core Responsibilities:


  • Review and verify internal contracts and sometimes also with third-party sites to create customer financial accounts in QBO.

  • Manage the internal naming convention and file creation within the CRM platform (Zoho).

  • Income recognition within our Accounting platform based on information within the CRM (Zoho)

  • Uploading project information through the CRM (Zoho), handling numerous cases for multiple branches.

  • Request information from sales representatives as needed.. Maintain good communication between the sales department and operations.

  • Assist in meeting department needs during the end-of-month closing process. .

  • Assist the team in reviewing Accounts Receivable reporting to support timely collections.

  • Calculate milestone payments for all branches and recording this information within internal platforms

  • Assist the team in verifying that customer and lender payments are correct.

  • Working with Sales and Operations to ensure integrity of the data.

  • Contribute ideas to make processes more efficient.

  • Be adaptable and perform additional duties as assigned and directed.


Requirements


Requirements, Education, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Basic working knowledge of Quickbooks Online

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms

  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn external third-party platforms 

  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.

  • Good communication skills both internal and external

  • The ability to work calmly and efficiently

  • Must have a clean driver's license and background check

  • Must have a High School diploma or a GED, some college or a combination of education and  experience 

  • Works independently, as a team player, and drives results in a fast-paced, team based environment

  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer.

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Coachable and self-motivated

  • Possess a learning mindset

  • Preferred: minimum of  one year of Solar Photovoltaic Industry experience/knowledge
