Trueline is seeking a Multi-Family and Commercial Solar Project Manager to join their team in California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex solar installations for multi-family and commercial properties.

What You'll Do as the Solar Project Manager:

  • Oversee all aspects of multi-family and commercial solar projects from bidding to completion
  • Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies
  • Coordinate between field teams, project teams, and customers
  • Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities
  • Ensure job site safety and compliance with company standards
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and material purchases
  • Prepare project billings and manage cash flow
  • Mentor and develop project team members

Must-Haves as the Solar Project Manager:

  • 5-8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory skills
  • Strong understanding of solar PV installations, general construction, and project sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction blueprints
  • Proficiency with project management software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within California

Nice-To-Haves as the Solar Project Manager:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
  • Experience with Salesforce and Site Capture software
  • Knowledge of interconnection methods and procedures
  • Track record of completing projects on time and within budget
