Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Quality Inspector in our Oxford, OH location. You will be primarily accountable for the performing root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for process related concerns.

Traditional First Shift 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday thru Thursday)
10 hour shifts

What do you get to do in this position?
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
- Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
- Create sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Monitor risk management activities
- Responsibility of document management systems
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

- High school diploma or equivalency
- Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience
- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
- Product or industry-specific experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Have an understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Have ability to change with a dynamic workload: From heavy multi-tasking during peak workloads - to very focused, detail oriented work during critical projects
- Are punctual/timely
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have apt interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Are self-motivated
- Experienced in problem resolution
- Have a strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Possess Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related fields
- Certifications including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
- Have knowledge of applicable design, installation, and use
