Our client is a publicly traded infrastructure engineering firm for large scale projects serving both the public and private sectors.
OVERVIEW The Environmental Generalists will conduct environmental assessments, monitor conditions, and assist in remediation efforts. They will ensure that projects comply with environmental regulations and minimize ecological impacts.
DESCRIPTION:
- Conduct environmental assessments, including soil, air, and water sampling, to identify contamination.
- Assist in developing and implementing remediation plans for impacted sites.
- Monitor and report on environmental conditions during and after cleanup operations.
- Collaborate with biologists and archaeologists to ensure ecosystem and cultural resource protection.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certifications: 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (required).
- Experience: 2 or more years of experience in environmental sampling, monitoring, or remediation.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle and have a clean driving record.
