• Senior researcher
  • Able to advance the science of environmental influences on health, particularly (but not exclusively) on cancer.
  • Evidence of a successful research program including a history of funded R01 grants or equivalent.

• Expertise in both prospective and retrospective environmental epidemiologic studies
  • Must have experience working with large health and demographic datasets and have a clear understanding of data systems and data linkage.
  • Strongly prefer candidates with experience and expertise in spatial analysis methods.
  • Prefer candidates with experience using big data techniques, exposome measurement, life course approaches, and/or the application of omics-based methods.
• Dedicated educator and mentor for pre- and post-doctoral trainees as well as junior faculty
• Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to communicate effectively
  • Must have a track record of building successful interdisciplinary teams and obtaining the committed support of a wide range of stakeholders for initiatives.

3. Research Accomplishments and Future Plans ­(3 pages) – Describe your most significant prior contributions to science and your plans for an independent research program. The research statement should describe short- and long-term goals and provide detailed plans for accomplishing some of those goals, including suitable external funding mechanisms.
4. Letters of Recommendation (3 required) – Provide the names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses of three individuals who are familiar with your work and can evaluate your potential for success as an independent researcher.
