Shaw Contract Sustainability Sales Trainee - Boston
Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing sales team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and eager to develop a career in sales. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training in our sales processes, products, and services, with the goal of progressing to a sustainability sales expert.
You, along with a group of other young professionals will go through an exciting and extensive 10-12 week training program at our corporate headquarters in northwest Georgia (don’t worry, we provide housing!). Our trainees participate in everything from team building activities, plant tours (you’ve got to see how our products our made!), sales ride-alongs, product knowledge assessments, professional presentations and much more. Basically, if you have a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed, we give you everything else you will need to be successful in the field during the training program!
The goal of this position is to locate and execute the return of Ecoworx carpet tile in the Northeast. The focus will be on the Boston area as a secondary market. They will call on general contractors, demolition contractors, flooring contractors and architects to not only secure recycling opportunities, but to connect with influencers in this space.
This position is located in Boston, MA with training based in Northwest GA.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field preferred.
Strong interest in sustainability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
Willingness to learn and adapt, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and dedication.
