· Oversee the EH&S Program in its entirety.
· Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
· Conduct regular and thorough safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
· Lead investigations of workplace accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
· Design and lead advanced safety training programs and workshops for employees at all levels.
· Monitor, analyze, and report on safety performance metrics to management.
· Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
· Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
· Develop, implement, and coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
· Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging safety technologies.
· Promote and embed a culture of safety throughout the organization.
· Manage and mentor the safety team, providing guidance and support.
· Conduct training and presentations on health and safety matters and accident prevention.
· Recommend solutions to safety issues, identify improvement opportunities, and propose new prevention measures.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of existing inspections, programs, and training initiatives.
· Assist the EH&S Coordinator as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements/Degree:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in environmental health and safety)
Job Requirements/Knowledge and Experience:
· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required
· Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards as applicable to manufacturing
· Ability to train, motivate, and influence team members
