Education
- Attending four-year college or university to attain a Sustainability or Environmental Science Bachelor's degree; or already awarded Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, project leadership, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- Self-starter and a team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.
- Knowledge and understanding of sustainability best practices and trends
- Experience with GHG accounting, LCA, product impact footprint, or other environmental accounting frameworks
- Basic knowledge of food manufacturing industry, preferably with natural and organic products
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines while working on multiple projects
- Experience with Microsoft Suites Office, comfort with advanced functions in Excel.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
