Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field, plus 5 years of experience in an EHS-related leadership or training role
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Leadership and Coaching ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 Management Systems
- Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety / Environmental Health and Safety or related field
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environment
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Registered Environmental Manager (REM), or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None
Working Conditions: Office setting, some walking within and between buildings
- 30% office, 70% production floor
- Ability to traverse around production floor
- If emergency occurs, may need to stay until issue is resolved
- Domestic and International travel as required
