onsemi is currently seeking an exceptional, passionate, results-driven individual with experience in energy audits at manufacturing sites, data collection and reporting to join the Sustainability and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) group. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, organization, interpersonal skills, be able to coordinate multiple projects and have excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate would be data driven and in touch with emerging trends in ESG or Sustainability.

ResponsibilitiesThis intern position will provide the opportunity to perform the following objectives:
- Assists with data collection, reconciliation, analysis, and accounting of environmental commodity consumptions and corresponding emissions, if applicable, across all onsemi global sites.
- Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to enter or update data related to the energy, waste, and water use across the enterprise within our enterprise environmental data management system.
- Assist with the rollout and standardized use of our enterprise environmental data management system across the onsemi enterprise.
- Assists with the generation of monthly and quarterly reports that enable proactive management of environmental commodity consumptions and costs across the enterprise.
- Assists with data gathering, review and analysis of manufacturing metrics related to sustainability to develop win-win scenarios of emissions and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reductions.
- Assists with activities to centralize sustainability project implementation status, timelines, tasks, and performance to visualize and forecast the impact of those shared goals and projects within our software platform.
- Support the documentation of best practices, lessons learned and standardized implementation procedures to enable streamlined measure implementation and cross functional collaboration between our global manufacturing sites.
- Assist with various other projects, as needed.
QualificationsIn order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for a student enrolled into a Masters/Doctoral program in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management or Sustainability Engineering.
- Preferred:
- Demonstrated skills to conceptualize problems and develop solutions that can be implemented at scale.
- Demonstrated skills to develop impactful presentations (using MS PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with the GHG Protocol Reporting Standards

- Matriculating to achieve a MS/Ph.D. in Engineering or Sustainability disciplines.
- Ability to handle large and complex datasets to develop meaningful inferences and results.
- Demonstrated ability to work on their own and accomplish goals based on set targets
- Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
