Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Laboratory Technician to support their operations. The role focuses on culture analysis, quality control, and laboratory equipment calibration to maintain top production standards.
Requirements:
- BSc Hons or MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Experience with microscopy, analytical chemistry, and lab equipment calibration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily culture analysis and microscopic examinations to ensure optimal algae growth and quality.
- Calibrate and maintain online monitoring systems, including nutrients, pH, temperature, and conductivity.
- Prepare samples for off-site quality testing and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality control procedures.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cultures, equipment, and processes.
