Job Description
Position Title – Engineer
Experience- 2-5 years
Qualification- Diploma- Electrical Engineering
Location- Gurugram
Job Purpose
An Electrical draftsman with qualification in Electrical Diploma/any equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in electrical drafting using Auto CADD or any equivalent software. Should have fair understanding in systems pertaining to Sub-station (up to 400 KV), Loss evaluation, MV switchyards & SAP.
Roles and Responsibilities
Electrical Drafting:
Candidate should have proven experience as a Drafter, proficiency in CAD software, familiarity with 3D modeling tools, good math skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Fair knowledge on Balance of Wind plant pertaining to Unit Sub-station (up to 33 KV) related transmission lines upto 400kV, which shall also involve.
Interact with engineers to gather electrical design requirements of Unit Substations, SLD, Layout, farm layout & equipment’s if any for drafting.
Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Develop 2D, Isometric views & 3D models using auto cad tools.
Prepare power evacuation schemes and review them along with the engineer.
Evaluation of Technical losses in Tx. Line & selection of optimum conductor for project
Creation of Power connection network for Wind farm for optimum power evacuation.
Basic idea about substation engineering including various schemes for voltage level up-to 400/220kV level.
Identify potential design issues and redesign layouts to improve operation ability & executability.
Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
Create BoQ’s that describe Layout’s & prepare presentations as required.
Manage Department Budget & Commercial activity through SAP.
Knowledge of Software tools-
AutoCAD,2D & 3D drafting.
Profile & Eligible Criteria
Diploma in electrical from recognized institution with 3-5 yrs. post qualification experience.
Experience in renewable sector OR from the electrical consultancies OR from the EPC companies who deliver services to the into energy/ power sector.
