Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Senior Solutions Support Engineer in our Digital Power Systems Strategic Channels Team. This position is responsible for providing quotations for Digital Power and Power Systems scopes for our Strategic Channels customers. The successful candidate will be able to understand customer needs, create complex hardware and software solutions, and work with tendering on the financial aspects of the projects.

What will you do?
The Senior Solution Sales Support Engineer for Digital Power Systems is accountable for providing all aspects of sales support for Power Monitoring & Controls, Power Factor Correction, PCA, Medium and Low Voltage Equipment supporting strategic customers, and serves as a subject matter expert on bridge front office (BFO) CRM for sales.
- Provides commercial and technical support to the sales and opportunity leaders in an understanding of business context, defining opportunity portfolio/solution.
- Analyzes customer requests and converts them into Schneider Electric Digital Power and Power systems Solutions.
- Supports the proposal through the negotiation process to successful closure.
- Supports identifying and qualifying opportunities, influencing, and developing solutions.
- Supports Bid Invest decisions and prepares the proposals and offers.
- Support risk assessment before submitting offers.
- Support commercial and technical impact evaluation during the bid process.
- Provides solutions, product, and services application support for Digital Power & Power Systems & National Sales Force Line of Business.
- Serve as the SME (Super Champion) of bFO and assist in managing our network of excellence via our champion network of peers.
- Hybrid work schedule is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5-10 years of industry experience.
- Proven quotation experience in the Electrical Industry.
- Experience with Energy/Power Management third-party products and how they can be integrated into power solutions systems is a plus.
- Experience with Low Voltage Equipment, including Low Voltage Draw-out Switchgear, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Pad Mount Transformers, Dry Type Transformers, AC Drives.
- Understand and have the ability to apply NEC equipment standards and local Codes.
- Understanding of competitor products.
- Self-motivated team player with good time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Embrace and utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and new tools, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Knowledgeable on the following products is a plus:
- Medium Voltage Equipment including: MetalClad Switchgear, Metal Enclosed Switchgear and Power Transformers
