• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement QHSSE strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Policy Development: Design and enforce policies and procedures that promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate QHSSE-related risks across the organization.
• Training & Development: Lead training programs to enhance employee awareness and adherence to QHSSE protocols.
• Incident Management: Oversee investigation of incidents, ensure proper documentation, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Audit & Inspection: Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance and effectiveness of QHSSE systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to track QHSSE performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote QHSSE best practices.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on QHSSE performance to senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in QHSSE with at least 7 years in a leadership role within oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of QHSSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
