Our client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy providing specialist environmental, geotechnical, and engineering services. They work across various sectors, including:
- Environmental Consultancy β Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), due diligence, and permitting
- Land Development & Remediation β Brownfield site assessment and remediation strategies
- Geotechnical Engineering β Site investigations and ground risk assessments
- Waste & Resource Management β Landfill design, waste recovery, and resource efficiency solutions
- Sustainable Development β Supporting clients with net zero strategies and environmental compliance
The Role
As a Graduate Environmental Consultant, you will:
- Assist with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and environmental permitting applications
- Support the preparation of Phase 1 & 2 Environmental Assessments
- Conduct contaminated land assessments and assist with remediation strategies
- Assist with flood risk, air quality, and ecological assessments
- Gather and analyse environmental data, preparing technical reports
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK environmental legislation and best practices
What Weβre Looking For
- A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- A strong understanding of UK environmental regulations and planning policies
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in permitting is preferred but this is not essential.
