What will you do:
- Develop and maintain planning procedures to ensure projects are executed in accordance with the Maersk Offshore Wind (MOW) Management System.
- Oversee the maintenance and development of planning tools and systems.
- Create detailed Level 1 and Level 3 schedules following planning procedures and the Project Management Plan (PMP), including activities for subcontractors. Revise resource requirements and keep organizational diagrams updated.
- Establish and maintain project execution schedules using MS-Project or Primavera, covering all project phases such as Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, Offshore Installation, Operation Documentation, and Training of Operation Personnel.
- Develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for efficient planning, progress reporting, budget reporting, and resource control.
- Collect and analyze weekly and monthly progress reports from subcontractors and other providers, integrating them into monthly and weekly reports for Project Management and clients.
- Conduct critical path analyses and calculate P50 and P90 values of execution schedules. Assist the Project Manager in formulating effective and timely remedial actions.
- Facilitate and update the project risk register, identifying potential slippages related to critical activities in the execution schedule.
- Liaise with Contract requirements, MOW Planning Procedures, Scope Managers, and Client’s planning function to exchange relevant information regarding interfaces.
- Manage the action register, tracking open MOW items from engineering meetings, commercial meetings, and Technical Queries (TQs).
- Revise project schedules according to Contracts in ProArch and Project Server.
- Register changes to schedules and plans.
- Prepare critical path analysis reports and deviation reports.
- Maintain registers of conducted audits and progress verifications.
- Handle all planning-related contract administration documentation and correspondence.
To succeed in this role:
- You have a background in Engineering degree or equivalent.
- You bring a minimum 2 years’ experience within Oil & Gas, Drilling, Offshore Wind industry, or similar industries.
- You are proficient in the operation of the Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Project.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office Software Products.
- You are eager to learn, take ownership of your responsibilities, and are not afraid to challenge the status quo when necessary.
- You have good English skills, both written and verbal, and feel comfortable working in a multicultural setting.
